Because Water is Life

Haiti is known for the worst water quality in the Western Hemisphere. Over half the population has no access to clean, safe drinking water. One of ten Haitian children die before the age of five – the leading cause being waterborne diseases.

Partners with Haiti has

• Provided water filtration systems to over 400 families, supplied by “Gift of Water” a humanitarian organization working in Haiti.
• Implemented an education program on the importance of clean water and the use of the filtration systems.
• In 2018, for logistical reasons, discontinued the education program while encouraging users to continue on their own.
• In 2019 begun working with “One Ball One Village” an organization providing centralized water filtration systems throughout Haiti. https://www.oneballonevillage.com/
• In 2022 installed modern high-efficiency filtration systems at our clinic and in the St. Isidore compound.
